How does your garden grow?

I walked out to my pitiful garden this morning.

Dreams of bushels full of yummylious tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers to eat and can will not be happening this year. However, it is not from a lack of trying.

The weather simply has not cooperated. It's August and the temp is 57 degrees right now. I am burning a candle, drink hot coffee and wearing a long sleeve shirt.

Things change -- plans fail

  1. My tomatoes died:( Its been 110 to 115 degrees. I just planted new tomatoes. Hopefully by fall I will have more thriving. I only have my mint, rosemary and onions thriving with this weather.

  3. Wow, wish I were there - has been close to 100 here lately. I have been hearing stories about it not really being summer in places and the crops not maturing. I did hear today that it is heating up, though! Sending some warm Georgia sunshine your way!!
