Quilling

A revival of a lost art that was popular in the 17th century when carved ivory and filigree were in vogue. Claimed to be originated by the French nuns so the poor could imitate the effect of carved ivory, it was first made by cutting strips of paper and rolling them on a feather quill, thus the name "quilling." The modern method is to use a corsage pin to roll the paper.

I bought all the supplies several years ago to start quilling myself and haven't yet.
This is definitely inspiring me to pull it out and get to work. Thanks!
